ARC Community Support Systems is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to providing Advocacy, Parental Training, Residential, Employment, Family Support and Counseling Services to the people of Illinois. With the Corporate office located in Teutopolis and satellite offices in Effingham, Olney, ARC-CSS strives to provide top-notch services to everyone who has such needs.
People with disabilities, and their families, are free to contact us regarding any questions or concerns they may have. We offer many Employment, Day Training, Residential and Family Support programs, each catered to meet diverse and specific individual needs
We also offer Counseling Services to treat such issues as depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and/or parent & child concerns. Children First and Divorce Mediation services are also available..
Children’s Program, ARC-CSS offers a – All Babies Can (ABC) program– to families in Richland, Lawrence, Crawford and Jasper counties, who have infants and toddlers at risk of experiencing developmental delays and to pregnant teens and teen parents
Our Child and Family Connections program is the system point of entry for Birth to Three Early Intervention Services for families who have infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and live in the counties of: Effingham, Clay, Richland, Jasper, Fayette, Bond, Macoupin, Montgomery, Christian, Crawford, and Lawrence.
ARC-CSS provides support to our partner organization, Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center, which provides information, materials, support, individual consultation and training to parents of children with any type of disability from birth up to age 26. The Parent Center serves 94 counties in Illinois outside of the Chicago metro area.
