Child & Family Connections (CFC)
Early Intervention Child & Family Connections is a statewide system that has been established to ensure that all referrals of children under the age of three, to the Early Intervention System, receive a timely response in a prompt, professional, and family-centered manner.

CFC provides activities by:
• Responding to all referrals.
• Giving families information about early intervention.

• Obtaining reports, evaluations, etc... to determine eligibility for early intervention services.
• Working with parents and providers to complete intake process and facilitate the writing of the individual family service plan (IFSP).
• Offering Parent Liaison services to parents/guardians wanting to talk with someone who has a child with special needs.
• Working closely with the Local Interagency Councils (LIC's) and local early intervention services and seeking ways to eliminate service gaps within our 11 county region.
• Serving as coordinator of a child's Individualized Family Service Plan.

To refer a child for Early Intervention services who is living in one of the counties served, contact Peter Niccum, CFC Manager, at 217-347-5601, ext. 114.
