The Kids On The Block Program offers an educational and entertaining way for children to learn about specific disabilities and the many ways that children with disabilities are the same as all other children.
ARC Community Support Systems offers the program to Effingham County Schools at no cost. The puppet performance is targeted to second and third graders.
Skits include information on mental retardation, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, learning disabilities, visual impairments and sibling issues.
