If you have a child with special needs, our services are available to help you build upon your family's strengths in order to better meet your family's needs.
Services are offered to families who:
• Have a member with a disability from birth through 21 years of age.
• Are in need of services in order to better meet the challenge of keeping a child with special needs at home.
• Reside in a 26 county area in central/southern Illinois.
We Provide:
• In-home assistance to help parents recognize strengths and determine service needs.
• Help with locating and obtaining needed services such as educational, financial assistance, vocational opportunities, respite, leisure, counseling, family support groups, and therapeutic services.
• Special Education Rights Training.
• Individual consultations on preparing for education planning meetings.
• Assistance in planning for transition into adult life.
• Information on legal rights and planning for your child's future.
• Sibling support information and SibShops.
• Help with school problems.
