Joan Hahn began her employment with ARC Community Support Systems in August of 2004. The programs she oversees as Director of Children’s Programs cover the Illinois Counties of Crawford, Jasper, Lawrence and Richland.
Joan graduated in 1988 from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. This degree has afforded her many years experience in teaching reading and math in Illinois public schools, as well as experience in Homebound Schooling. Prior to coming to work for ARC she owned and managed Kiddie Classroom Preschool in Olney for children two to five years of age.
Joan’s first experience with ARC was as a mother whose children were receiving services. “The services received by my children were second to none and the staff were excellent. My goal as the Director of Children’s Programs is to expand the existing ABC and A.P.P.L.E. Children’s Programs and to continue the tradition of family-first service that people working with ARC Community Support Systems have come to expect and deserve”.
Joan live in Olney along with her husband Pat daughters, Raelee and Holly.
