Lauren is the Vocational Manager at ARC Community Support Systems in Olney. In her position, Lauren matches individuals, who have a developmental disability, with a job in the community through the Placement Services contract with the Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services. Lauren also oversees the cleaning crew in Olney. Additionally, Lauren acts as the Intake Coordinator for services at the Olney facility. Lauren was born and raised in Olney where she graduated from High School in 2001. She is very proud of her small town and enjoys participating in many local events/organizations such as the Relay for Life, First Presbyterian Church, the Greater Richland County Chamber of Commerce and many more. Lauren completed her Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies in December, 2005. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston where she was very active in residential life and campus tours/orientation. Prior to her employment with us beginning in April of 2006 Lauren worked at the First National Bank in Olney and Country Insurance and Financial Services while in college.
One of Lauren’s favorite quotes is “The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.”
Lauren resides in Olney with her husband Rob.
